About Us

Warm care, thoughtful teaching, open doors

Union Gap Childcare is a neighborhood early learning center where children are greeted by name and families always know what happened during the day.

A second home for your child

We built Union Gap Childcare around a simple idea: children thrive when the adults around them are calm, consistent, and genuinely happy to see them. Our rooms are quiet enough to think in, bright enough to play in, and organized so children can make choices on their own.

Families are part of the day here. Stop in, ask questions, join us for a special event — you're always welcome.

What We Stand For

The values behind every day here

Our Mission

To give every child a warm, secure place to grow — and to give every family confidence that their child is known, safe, and learning.

Our Philosophy

Children learn best when they feel safe and are free to explore. We follow their curiosity and add structure where it helps, not where it limits.

What Makes Us Different

Small groups, consistent teachers, and daily communication. Families get real updates from the person who spent the day with their child.

Our Commitment to Safety

Secure check-in, careful supervision ratios, allergy-aware meals, and routine safety drills — in a safe area right by the local police department.

Early Childhood Education

A play-based approach that builds language, early math, motor skills, and social confidence — always at the child's own pace.

Come see it for yourself

The best way to know if a center is right for your family is to walk through it. We'd love to show you around.
